At the MTV Video Music Awards, Justin Timberlake is the equivalent of Jack Nicholson at the Oscars.
Though just 26-years-old, Timberlake appeared like an old veteran at the VMAs in Las Vegas. Chris Brown's impressive dance routine had Timberlake feeling his age.
"Nobody likes to be reminded that they're getting older," Timberlake said while accepting his award for best male artist. "And whatever (18-year-old R&B singer) Chris Brown just did, reminded me how much I'm getting older, 'cause damn."
Timberlake added he was excited to see a new generation of artists, a pronouncement that a 26-year-old former boy-band member can only make at the youth-obsessed VMAs.
Timberlake also twice asked MTV to revert to its video-playing ways of the ol' days.
"Play more damn videos. We don't want to see the Simpsons on reality television," said Timberlake, referring to Jessica and Ashley Simpson. "Play more videos."
